What does it mean when a live betting market is suspended?
A suspended market is not currently available for action in the sportsbook’s view. DraftKings’ help page says an unavailable market cannot be selected, and a selection marked suspended in a bet slip cannot be placed. If it becomes available again, its odds may have changed. Check the current screen and rules for the sportsbook you are using; the label does not tell you why or when it will reopen.

Recheck the sportsbook before relying on the market
A suspended label does not specify when a market will return or what its price will be if it does. DraftKings notes that odds can change when the market becomes available again. Other sportsbooks may present their own status and ticket rules, so use the current screen for the book you are viewing.
A market status is separate from the scoreboard status
The event can still be shown as in progress while a particular market is unavailable. Do not infer the final event result, a settlement decision or a reopening time from the suspended label alone.
Hypothetical example: selection is suspended in a ticket
A reader adds a fictional live selection to a DraftKings bet slip, then sees it marked suspended before placement. The help guidance says the selection cannot be placed while unavailable. If it returns, the reader checks the updated odds rather than assuming the earlier line still applies. No actual game, selection or price is represented.
