What should happen to private-content notifications after my membership ends?

A notification can remain visible as a reminder of an earlier activity, but it does not restore club membership or grant access to private content. Recheck the account’s current club access before opening the destination. Do not forward the alert or any private details to someone else. The recorded notification contract carries source identifiers and an access revision, not a private message body; it does not establish that every device alert is automatically removed or suppressed after membership changes. If an alert appears to expose private information, contact BSD through the verified Support & help route.

An alert cannot restore current club access

Membership or content access can change after an activity is recorded. Treat an older alert as a pointer to that activity, not as permission to open a private item now.

Keep the alert and its contents private

Do not forward a private-content alert or use it to bypass a changed access decision. Check your current account and club access through the normal route. If the alert appears to reveal content it should not, report the issue through verified support.

A private-content alert after access ends

Suppose a person leaves or loses access to a club but still sees an earlier alert for a private discussion. The alert does not restore membership. They avoid sharing its details and check current access before opening the destination.

Should an old alert keep private content accessible?

No. A prior notification is not an access grant. Current club access determines whether the private destination can be opened.
