Why does Doctor say a suggested question's context changed?

A personalized card is tied to the source and version it showed. If Doctor refreshes that context and the card no longer matches, it stops the send, keeps your question and asks you to choose an updated card. The message means the suggestion is stale; it does not say research or a wager completed. A Grade is a second opinion, not a pick.

For People whose selected BSD Doctor starter says its context changed · Updated

A personalized prompt must still match its source

Doctor cards can refer to a specific saved Grade, slip, open ticket or upcoming-game context. Before using a personalized card, the current screen refreshes that context and checks that the suggestion still identifies the same source version. Some time-sensitive suggestions also expire at the event start.

If the saved source changed, no longer matches the card, or passed its expiration point, Doctor does not quietly send the old source-bound wording as if it were current.

Your question stays saved while the old card is refused

The current refusal says: “That context changed. Your question is saved; choose an updated card.” Doctor preserves the question text and asks you to select a fresh suggestion. The message reports a freshness check, not a completed answer, a completed new analysis or a sportsbook action.

If the card mentioned a current price, do not treat its earlier wording as confirmation that the same price is available now. The question may ask Doctor to check a price; it does not promise that a current quote exists or that a send succeeded.

Choose a refreshed card and check what it refers to

Use the updated card shown in Doctor, then read its title and question again. Confirm it refers to the saved report, slip or upcoming-game context you meant. If its wording no longer fits, edit the preserved question or start from the relevant source rather than resending an old card.

  • For a saved Grade, select the current card tied to that report.
  • For an open slip or ticket, check that the card still refers to the same saved record.
  • For an upcoming-game question, reread the refreshed event and its time-sensitive wording.
  • If the issue continues, ask a plain question that clearly names the source you want Doctor to discuss.

Use support if the updated question still cannot continue

If the same message persists after choosing an updated card, describe what happened to BSD Support and include your device and a short explanation. A screenshot can help if it shows the refusal without exposing unrelated account information. Do not send passwords or sign-in codes.

Illustrative example: a saved open-ticket card goes stale

Suppose a Doctor card refers to a saved open ticket and asks you to check its current sportsbook price. Before you send it, the saved record is updated or the time-sensitive card expires. Doctor keeps your question but declines the stale card. Choose the refreshed card and check which ticket it names; do not assume the old price is still available. This is a synthetic recovery example with no real ticket or quoted price.

Related questions

Did Doctor send my question when it showed this message?

The current flow checks the selected card before sending it. When the context has changed, it saves the question and asks you to choose an updated card. The refusal itself is not a completed reply.

Does a saved old price stay current while I choose another card?

No. The earlier suggestion does not guarantee a current sportsbook price. Review the refreshed context before asking Doctor to check it.
