Why does BSD ask me to reload when my profile changed during a photo update?
The recorded photo flow handles the specific `social_profile_changed` response when the profile revision changes during the request. The old photo command is marked rejected, and the recovery message asks you to reload and review the current profile before saving again. This is different from an invalid photo or a request whose response was merely uncertain, and it should not be generalized to every conflict response.
For BSD community members who see a profile-changed message while updating a photo · Updated
The photo request was based on an older profile revision
The photo update includes the profile revision that was current when the member prepared the change. If another profile change makes that revision stale, the recorded recovery branch recognizes the `social_profile_changed` response and keeps the old command from being treated as a normal successful save.
That code is specific to this response and profile-photo flow. A different 409 response can mean something else, so do not infer that every conflict has the same cause.
Reload and review before starting a new update
The current recovery path reloads the profile and clears the rejected command only after that read succeeds. Review what is now shown before deciding whether the photo choice should be saved against the current revision.
Do not repeatedly resubmit the old revision, replace its key automatically, or assume the service will overwrite another profile change. The source does not promise an automatic retry after this conflict.
Hypothetical: another profile edit happens first
Imagine a member prepares a profile-photo update while another profile edit is saved first. The photo request then receives the specific profile-changed response. The member reloads and reviews the current profile before deciding whether to make a new photo update; the example does not claim that the old request was saved.

Does every 409 response mean my profile changed?
No. The source identifies the `social_profile_changed` code in this photo flow. Other conflicts are not shown to have the same meaning.
Will BSD automatically resubmit my photo after I reload?
The recorded flow reloads and lets the member review the current profile. It does not promise an automatic retry of the rejected photo command.
