What happens to the original content review after I submit an appeal?
When BSD accepts an eligible appeal, it creates a separate case linked to the original and changes the original review's state to Appealed. The Your content review card refreshes the original status to show that the appeal was filed. The label does not mean the original outcome was overturned, the post was restored, or the appeal has been decided. The available sources do not promise a separate customer list of every linked appeal, a notification or a review time.
For BSD members who submitted an appeal about a free-club content decision · Updated
The appeal is recorded as a case linked to the original
An accepted appeal does not replace the original report or its decision record. BSD creates a separate appeal case that references the original case and the decision being challenged.
The appeal statement is recorded with that linked case. The customer status projection remains a limited status response; it does not display the appeal body or private review evidence.
The original content review changes to Appealed
After the appeal is recorded, the original case state changes to Appealed. The current status card refreshes that original case and maps the state to the label Appealed.
Appealed describes the stage of the original case after filing. It does not say the appeal was upheld, that the earlier decision was removed, or that the content will be visible again.
The next decision and timing are not promised
The appeal flow establishes that a separate appeal case was created and the original status changed. The sources do not promise when the next review will finish or what its decision will be.
They also do not guarantee that every linked appeal appears as a separate item in a customer-facing list or that a notification is sent. Check the original case's current status rather than inferring more from Appealed.
Hypothetical: the original case after filing
Suppose a member submits an appeal on an eligible decision about their own club post and BSD accepts it. The original content review can now show Appealed, while the appeal is held in a separate linked case for review. That status records that the subject filed an appeal. It does not show that the original outcome was reversed, that the post returned to the feed, or how the appeal will be decided.

Does Appealed mean the original decision was reversed?
No. Appealed means an appeal was filed and linked to the original case. It is not the result of that appeal.
Will the appeal always appear as a separate item in my case list?
The source creates a linked appeal case but does not promise that every linked appeal appears as a separate customer-facing list item.
