How should I tell whether a creator has revised a club resource?
If a club resource is available to you, compare the version or updated-date context shown with the current material against the copy you last reviewed and any note from its creator. The resource service records a revision and update time when the resource record is edited or reordered, but the source does not establish that every customer view displays those fields or that a downloaded attachment synchronizes silently. A changed date is a cue to compare the material, not proof that every attached file changed.

Compare the version or date information you can actually see
If the creator provides a version number, date or change note with the material, compare it with the information on the copy you saved earlier. Read the current resource itself rather than relying on an old downloaded copy or bookmark.
The source model records a resource revision and updatedAt value. It does not establish that a customer-facing screen always exposes those fields or uses a particular revision label.
A resource record can change without proving a file copy changed
The resource record has separate title, body, kind, position and attachment references. Editing the record increments its revision and update time; reordering it also updates those fields.
A changed revision or date therefore does not by itself tell you whether the body, attachments, placement or more than one of them changed. The source does not describe automatic synchronization of copies already downloaded or stored elsewhere.
- Compare the material and creator's change note, not just its title.
- Treat a saved PDF or other local copy as separate from the current club resource.
- If the version context is unclear, ask the creator which copy is current.
Do not assume every revision reaches every copy
A creator may revise a resource record or its attachment references, but the available source does not promise that an outside file, previously downloaded copy or every member's view updates automatically.
Use the current material you can access and any version guidance the creator supplies. The source describes a resource data model; it is not proof that the feature or every display is available in every club.
Hypothetical: a date changed beside a resource
Suppose a member has a saved copy of a club worksheet and later sees a different update date with the current resource. The source can record a new revision and date after an edit or reorder, but that metadata alone does not identify what changed or update the local worksheet. The member compares the current material and any creator note before deciding which copy to use.

Does a newer update date mean my downloaded file changed too?
No. The resource record's update time does not establish that an outside or previously downloaded copy synchronized.
Does the source guarantee that I can see a revision label?
No. The service model tracks revision and update time, but the source does not establish that every customer-facing view displays them.
