Does a private History record become public when I browse Tail?

No. Opening or browsing Tail reads the community feed; it does not create a post from your personal History records. Publishing a feed post is a separate action that submits post content such as a caption and selected legs. Review what you choose to share before submitting it. A Grade is a second opinion, not a pick.

For Bettors who want to browse BSD Tail while keeping personal History records separate · Updated

Your History list and Tail's feed serve different jobs

History is where you review your own imported or manually entered betting records. Its record reads are scoped to the signed-in account that owns the record. Tail loads feed posts for browsing. Merely opening that feed is not a request to publish, copy or convert every saved History record into a public post.

A public Tail post is a separate feed item. It has its own caption and post content. The post creation request supplies the content for that post rather than asking the History list to publish itself.

A post is a deliberate, separate action

To publish to Tail, you use the feed's post flow and submit a post. The current post request carries selected legs and a caption, and may link to one of the author's own diagnoses. The request can also include whether to show a stake with a linked diagnosis. These are distinct choices from simply reading your History or scrolling Tail.

Before submitting, check the specific selections and wording in the post you are composing. Do not include account details or sportsbook credentials in a caption. The privacy of the original History record does not make the content of a separately published post private.

If you only want to look around, use Tail as a feed

You can browse the Tail feed without turning one of your personal History entries into a post. If you intend to share a selection, pause at the separate post flow and review what it asks to publish. Your own post should be judged by the content submitted with that post, not by the fact that the same betting details are saved in History.

  • Opening History is a read of your own records.
  • Opening Tail is a read of feed posts.
  • Submitting a Tail post is a separate write that carries its own caption and selected post content.

A feed post has its own visibility

This distinction covers normal History viewing and Tail feed browsing. It does not make a post you separately submit private, and it does not establish a blanket promise about every possible account or application state. If you see a saved record appear in a post you did not submit, contact BSD Support with the details of what appeared.

Illustrative example: scrolling is not posting

You open History and review a saved ticket, then switch to Tail to read community posts. That navigation does not itself create a Tail post from the ticket. If you later open the separate post flow and submit a caption and selected legs, the submitted post is a separate feed item. Review that content before you submit it. This is a synthetic navigation example, not a customer's account or a privacy incident.
