Does opening my completed Grade start another Doctor consultation?

No. Opening the Grade linked to a Doctor conversation takes you to its saved report context; it does not by itself send a new Doctor question. A short completion note may also be added to an eligible linked Doctor thread from the saved Grade text, without a new quote or research-provider call. If you later type and send a follow-up, that is a separate user-requested turn and uses the usual access, quote and funding checks. A Grade is a second opinion, not a pick.

For BSD readers deciding whether opening a completed Grade starts a new Doctor consultation. · Updated

Opening the Grade takes you to its saved report

Use the Grade entry in the Doctor conversation to open its full report context. The app resolves the saved report and its associated research for the active account. That read action is different from composing and sending another message to Doctor.

  • Open the linked Grade when you want to inspect the completed report.
  • Read the report's evidence and limitations in the report itself.
  • Return to Doctor and send a new question only if you want another conversation turn.

A short Doctor note can come from the completed Grade

For an eligible linked conversation, the Grade completion path can append one short Doctor note drawn from already saved Grade text. That completion handoff does not make another provider call, quote research units or create a new consultation. It is a completion note associated with the existing Grade flow, not a reply to a new question you just asked.

Sending a new question is a separate action

A follow-up begins when you choose a suggested question or type one and send it. Doctor then runs the ordinary access, consent, quote and funding checks for a new message. No fixed price or unlimited-use promise follows from opening a saved report or receiving its completion note.

Hypothetical example: read first, then decide whether to ask

Suppose a linked Grade has finished and Doctor shows its short completion note. You open the Grade to read the saved report and its supporting context; that step does not submit a new question. After reviewing it, you may decide to type a separate follow-up and press send, which begins a new Doctor request subject to the normal checks. This is a synthetic flow example, not a real account or Grade result.

Related questions

Does the completion note appear for every Grade?

Do not assume it does. The completion path applies only to an eligible linked Doctor thread and checks whether a Doctor message already exists.

Is the completion note another paid research response?

The Grade handoff builds the short note from saved Grade text and does not make a provider call, create a quote or consume research units. A separate message you send still follows its own access, quote and funding checks.
