Can I create multiple free clubs from the same BSD profile?

The current free-club lifecycle ties a club to the existing public profile ID. That ID is the club ID, and the free-club table permits one record for it. A second create request from the same profile does not create another free club; an existing closed record is not reactivated by creating again. The source supports the one-profile identity boundary, not duplicate accounts or profile changes as workarounds.

For BSD creators wondering whether one profile can start multiple free clubs · Updated

The existing public profile is the club identity

When the free-club create operation runs, it looks up the account's existing public, approved profile and uses that profile's ID as the club ID. The free-club record is keyed by that same ID and linked to the profile.

This means the current free-club model does not create a separate second club identity from the same profile. A club-specific name setting, if submitted and approved, does not create another club record.

Repeating creation does not add a second club

If a free-club record already exists for the profile, another create request is not a second-club workflow. The service can refuse an existing record, and a closed record is treated as unavailable by the create operation.

Do not use duplicate accounts, identity changes, or another create request to try to get around the existing profile-to-club link. The current source does not describe those as supported ways to create additional clubs.

Use the lifecycle action for a closed club

If the profile's club is closed, creating again will not reopen it. The owner lifecycle action handles an active or closed state for that existing record, subject to current owner and access checks.

This answer is limited to multiple free clubs from the same profile. It does not infer broader club limits for every possible BSD account or profile configuration.

Hypothetical: a second create request

Imagine one admitted public profile already owns a free-club record. Sending another create request with that profile does not mint a different club ID or a second club. If the existing record is closed, the owner must use the existing lifecycle path if the current product offers it; a new create request is not a reopening action.

Related questions

Does trying create again make a second free club?

No. The current create operation uses the existing profile ID as the club ID, and the free-club record is keyed to that ID.

Can I create again to reopen my closed club?

No. A closed record is not reactivated by create. The current owner lifecycle action handles a state change for the existing club.
