What should I check when a league filter shows no games?

First confirm the selected league and date or time range match what you meant to view, then refresh the schedule. An empty filtered list means there are no results in that current view; it does not prove that no games are scheduled anywhere. Event status can also be unknown when the source has no matching scoreboard, the league is unsupported or the feed is unavailable. A scheduled time or an in-play price may still provide limited status context, so treat source availability and game count as separate questions. A Grade is a second opinion, not a pick.

Confirm what the filter is asking to show

Check the league selection and any date or time window in the view. A narrow filter can correctly return no rows even when another league or time range has events. Refresh after confirming the scope rather than assuming the first empty result covers every schedule.

  • Verify the intended league or competition.
  • Check the date and local time range you are viewing.
  • Refresh the list and compare the current result.

An unknown scoreboard state is not the same as no event

Live status can be unknown when no scoreboard record is bound, a league has no supported status feed, or the source is unavailable. The event may still have a scheduled start, but an empty result list and an unknown status answer different questions.

Read the basis of any status you do have

When status is available, its basis can be the scoreboard, an in-play price or schedule alone. A schedule-based fallback is not proof that play is underway, and an unknown status is not proof that no game exists.

Hypothetical example: an empty view with an unknown status

Suppose a selected league and date range returns no games, while an event you expected has unknown scoreboard status. Recheck the filter scope and refresh. If the scope is correct, treat the event-status source as unresolved rather than concluding that the game was cancelled or that no games are scheduled. This is a synthetic troubleshooting example, not a live event report.

Does an empty league filter mean the league has no games today?

Not by itself. It only describes the current filtered result; verify the league, time range and schedule source.

Does unknown status mean a game is not happening?

No. Unknown can mean the scoreboard source is unavailable or unbound; it is different from a confirmed final, postponed or cancelled state.
