Why do open bets remain separate when I change a settled-results time window?

The selected time window controls settled-result summaries and records. History loads open bets through a separate query using the all-time range and requests the newest bounded page, so changing a settled-results window does not apply that date range to the Open bets section. The open list is limited to one page of up to 50 records; it is not an exhaustive open-bet inventory or a settled ROI calculation.

Settled results and open bets use different reads

A settled-results range is about when results belong in the selected window. Open bets have no settlement time yet, so History requests them separately instead of placing them inside that settled window.

The open query uses an all-time range with the open-result filter and a limit of 50. The screen displays those returned items in their own Open bets section while date-filtered settled rows follow the selected range.

Changing the range changes settled results

Switching ranges can change the settled summary and record list because those reads use the selected period. The open list is not recalculated as a slice of that period.

Other available filters can still affect the open query. The settled-results time window itself is not used as its date boundary.

  • Open bets are requested with the all-time range and open status.
  • The open read requests at most 50 records on its newest page.
  • Open risk stays separate from settled-result and ROI figures.

The open list is not an exhaustive inventory

Because the open read is capped, absence from the returned page does not prove that no other open record exists outside it. Treat the section as the current bounded view.

If an open record later settles, it may enter settled results according to its recorded settlement timing. Until then, changing a settled-results window does not turn it into a settled record.

A range change leaves open bets separate

Hypothetically, a reader changes settled results from one month to one week. The settled rows and summary are read for the new window, while the separate newest open-bet page remains outside that date filter. That page is still capped and does not claim to list every record.

Does a one-week filter hide open bets placed earlier?

The settled-results window is not applied to the separate open-bet query, which uses its own bounded all-time open read.

Does Open bets show every open ticket?

The read is capped at one newest page of up to 50 records, so it is not an exhaustive inventory.
