Does a free BSD club membership renew or expire each month?
No monthly renewal or expiry date applies to a free-club membership. BSD stores the club-specific member state, and free-club access has no paid-through billing period. Your access still depends on the membership remaining active, the club remaining active, and current account, profile and restriction checks. That is not a promise of permanent access or automatic rejoining if the state changes.
For BSD members wondering whether free-club access expires each month · Updated
Free-club membership is not a monthly subscription
The free-club member record stores whether membership is active and its current revision. It does not include a monthly expiry date or paid-through period. The club access result sets paid-through to null for the free-club path.
So a calendar month passing does not by itself renew or expire this free membership. Do not apply paid subscription billing or cancellation rules to it.
Access can still change when current club or account conditions change
No monthly expiry does not mean permanent access. The service checks that the club is active, the signed-in profile remains eligible, and the account is not restricted when it reads club access. The member state can also change through a separate join or leave action.
If private content is unavailable, check current membership and access state where your client exposes it. A missing billing date does not override a current access refusal.
A changed membership state is not automatically restored
If a member leaves or current club access changes, BSD does not describe a monthly process that automatically rejoins the member. A later join is a separate club-specific action subject to current eligibility.
This page describes free membership only. It does not state paid-club renewal, cancellation, refund, or subscription terms.
Hypothetical: a month passes after joining
Imagine a reader joined an active free club and a month passes. The stored free membership has no paid-through date that expires at the month boundary, so the date alone does not end it. If the membership remains active and current access checks still pass, the reader remains eligible to access the club; a later closure or restriction can change that independently of the calendar.

Will my free membership expire at the next monthly date?
There is no monthly expiry or paid-through date on the current free-club membership path. Access still depends on current membership and eligibility checks.
Does no monthly expiry mean my access is permanent?
No. The membership is not date-based, but the club can close, membership can change, and current profile or member restrictions can affect access.
