Does an event RSVP replace membership in a BSD club?
No. An RSVP is a response to a particular event; it is not membership in the BSD club that hosts it. In the recorded event service, viewing event details and changing an RSVP require current club-content access. Use an RSVP control only when it is available in your current BSD experience, and do not treat a past response as permission to read private club details.

An RSVP records your response to one event
The event service stores an RSVP status for a specific event and signed-in account. Its response values are event-specific; they do not add the account to the club's membership record.
An RSVP answers whether you responded to that event. It does not answer whether you currently belong to the host club.
Club membership remains a separate access check
The recorded event list, detail, and RSVP operations run through a current club-content access check. An event response does not replace that check or grant access to the club's private details.
If your membership or access changes, rely on the current club state shown by your available product experience. Do not use an old RSVP or saved event link to bypass a current refusal.
Check both the event and your club access
When the current client offers an event RSVP, confirm that you are looking at the intended event and that you have current access to its club. Keep event response and club membership as two separate pieces of information.
The backend event source describes service behavior, not a universal event screen or app path. It does not promise paid access, calendar synchronization, or a guaranteed place.
Hypothetical: a response without club membership
Imagine a reader sees an event response marked going on a club event but no longer has current club access. That response is not a membership credential and does not authorize private event details. The reader must rely on the current club access check rather than the older RSVP state.

Does choosing going join me to the club?
No. Going is an event-specific response. Club membership is stored and checked separately.
Can an RSVP unlock event details if I am not a club member?
The recorded event detail and RSVP operations require current club-content access. An RSVP does not override that requirement.
