Is a BSD club event the same as a sales demo appointment?
No. A club event and a sales demo appointment have different purposes. Event details tell a club audience what is scheduled; an RSVP is a response about attending that event. Neither, by itself, confirms a separate appointment with a sales representative. If you need a demo, look for an explicit booking confirmation or ask the business contact who offered it. This distinction does not claim BSD has a sales-booking integration.

A club event is for its club audience
A club event describes an activity or gathering, with details such as a title, description, time, and possibly a link. Its RSVP status concerns that event. It is not automatically a one-to-one business appointment.
A demo needs its own confirmation
A sales demo requires an explicit agreement about the meeting and who will attend. Do not treat an event listing or “going” response as a reserved sales slot unless the person arranging the demo confirms that separately.
A club gathering and a separate demo request
Imagine a club posts a group Q&A and a member RSVPs “going.” That response concerns the club event; it does not reserve time with a sales representative. If the member also requested a demo, they need a separate confirmation from the person arranging it.

Does RSVPing to a club event book a sales call?
No. It records a response to that event. A sales call or demo needs separate confirmation from the person arranging it.
