Why can a previously exported event differ from the current club event?

If you copied event details into a separate calendar or file, that copy may show what was true when you made it. The current club event can later be edited or canceled, so its time, time zone, link, or status may differ. Do not assume the separate copy stays synchronized unless the calendar service explicitly says it does. Reopen the current event details and compare the date, time zone, and any link or cancellation notice. If the two records disagree, ask the event organizer or club owner/admin which details are current. This is general guidance; it does not claim BSD exports events or provides calendar synchronization.

A copied entry may be a snapshot

Saving or exporting event details creates a separate copy unless the calendar tool confirms it is subscribed to updates. A later change in the club’s event record does not by itself update every other calendar or file.

Check the event in its current source before relying on a saved entry, especially after a time, time-zone, or cancellation change.

Compare the current event details

Look at the start time, time zone, event link, and whether the event is canceled. If the current event includes an update time or revision, compare that too. When the copy and the current record conflict, confirm with the organizer or club owner/admin instead of guessing.

A saved time that no longer matches

Imagine an event was first listed for Tuesday at 7 p.m. and later moved to 7:30 p.m. A calendar entry copied before the change can still show 7 p.m. Open the current event record and confirm the time before making plans. This hypothetical does not describe a BSD export or sync feature.

Does an exported event update automatically?

Only if the calendar service confirms that the entry is subscribed to updates. A one-time copy may stay as it was when saved.
