What should I do if my moderator role was removed while I had the club open?
Treat the current server role as authoritative. A screen that was open before the role changed does not preserve moderator permission for the next protected action. Refresh the club’s current access state, stop using moderation actions if they are no longer available, and ask the club owner to explain or review the role change if you believe it was unexpected. Do not try to bypass the current permission check with an old screen or saved request.

A previously open page does not preserve the old role
BSD returns club-specific access and checks current authority before protected actions. A visible moderation control from an earlier state is not a continuing grant. If the role was removed or changed, the server may reject a later action even while an older screen remains open.
Refresh access and stop using unavailable staff controls
Reload the club or otherwise refresh the current access details before taking another staff action. If moderation permission is no longer present, do not keep retrying a withhold, restore, or other moderation request. The current role determines whether that action is allowed.
Ask the club owner when the change is unexpected
The club owner can review staff roles and confirm what role is currently assigned. Ask the owner if you need context or believe the change was unintended. A report of a changed role does not itself restore it, and this club role is not a statement about your broader BSD account access.
Hypothetical example: a stale moderation screen
A fictional moderator leaves the club page open while the owner changes the staff role. The moderator later presses a control from that screen. The request is evaluated using current club authority, so the old screen cannot preserve the removed permission. The person refreshes access and checks with the owner before taking another staff action.
