Should I look in All or Mentions for club reply and like notifications?
Check All for a free-club reply or like. A reply or a like is not automatically a direct mention, and the supported community rows have their mention flag set to false.
For BSD readers handling this notification task · Updated
A reply or like can be activity without a mention
The Notifications screen has separate All and Mentions tabs. The backend applies the Mentions filter to rows whose mention field is true. The community rows in this supported free-club reply and like scope are stored with mention=false.
That means a club reply or like may be present in All while absent from Mentions. The distinction is about the row’s recorded category; it does not imply that BSD parsed an @name from the text.
Use All for the club activity row
If you are looking for a free-club reply or like, start in All. If it is not there, refresh the current inbox observation and read the status shown; switching to Mentions will not make a non-mention row appear.
The existing native consumer also fails closed for community targets it does not support, so this guidance stays with recorded free-club replies and likes. It does not promise other notification classes or alerts.
Keep the row’s meaning narrow
A reply or like notice indicates supported discussion activity. It is not a wager, follow, purchase, or payout record. Use the row to return to its current approved discussion only if the source and your access still pass the current checks.
A reply without a mention
Imagine a member’s post receives a reply in a free club, but the reply does not directly mention that member. The notification row is still community activity with mention=false, so All is the relevant filter; Mentions is not a second copy of every reply.

Does Mentions include every reply to my post?
Not in this scope. The recorded community rows for supported free-club replies and likes have mention=false, so check All.
Does BSD detect every @name in club replies?
This behavior does not establish @mention parsing. It only describes the recorded category of these community activity rows.
