Why is my previously saved report status unavailable?
A case reference saved on your device is not a guarantee that the server can still return its status. BSD checks the current account's reporter or subject role, club access and whether the case still matches its current source and revision. The club case list is also bounded to current authorized entries. If the screen says unavailable, that does not prove the case was deleted, dismissed or changed for a particular reason.
For BSD members whose previously saved free-club report status is now unavailable · Updated
The saved reference is checked against current access
The app can keep a case reference locally after the report is accepted. When you check its status, the server revalidates the signed-in account against the case's reporter or subject role and checks that the club and current content source still match.
A source change, unavailable post, or current access check can prevent the status projection from being returned. The screen does not identify which condition applies to an individual case.
The current club list is limited
The free-club customer case list is bounded: it returns up to 20 currently authorized cases for the active club and current member. A saved reference can exist locally even when it is not present in that bounded current list.
A missing item in the list does not prove the case was deleted or decided. The list reflects the cases the current query can return, not an unlimited history or retention policy.
Check again without treating unavailable as an outcome
Confirm that you are using the same BSD account and free club, then choose Check status again if the card offers it. If it remains unavailable, keep the case reference; the response still does not reveal a dismissal, deletion or specific access change.
The available sources do not promise that signing in again, rejoining a club or contacting support will restore access to a case.
Hypothetical: a saved case ID is not returned
Suppose a member still has a case reference saved on their device, but the current free-club status request says unavailable. The server checks the current case role, club access and source before returning status, and its club list is bounded. The member can confirm the account and club and check again, but the unavailable response alone does not show that the case was deleted, dismissed or changed for a particular reason.
Related questions
Does unavailable mean my report was dismissed?
No. Unavailable means the current customer view could not return the authorized status. It is not a moderation decision label.
Does a saved case reference guarantee that I can always reopen the case?
No. The reference does not bypass current account, club and source checks, and the customer list is bounded. The source does not promise permanent access or retention.
Will signing in again or rejoining the club restore it?
The source does not promise that either action restores status access. An unavailable response also does not identify a specific reason for the case.
