Why is there no appeal option on my BSD content review?
The appeal action is conditional. The case must have a recorded decision and decision ID, the signed-in person must be the subject of the reported content, the original case must still be appeal-eligible, and the current club post and revision must match. The app also needs the status card's target to match the post it is showing. A missing button does not say the appeal was denied; it may mean one of these conditions is not met or the matching case is not available in the current view.

A report still being reviewed is not yet an appeal action
The customer case list sets canAppeal only when the current actor is the content subject, the case is an original case rather than an appeal case, its state is decided and a decision ID is present. Pending review and In review are earlier states, so they do not offer this decision appeal.
A case that already has an appeal or no longer matches the current eligible decision may also fail the server's submission checks. The available sources do not define an appeal deadline or a manual override.
The signed-in person and post must match the case
Only the person whose content is the subject of the original case can appeal it. A reporter or another club member cannot use this action on the subject's behalf.
The native card also requires an associated post ID and checks that the case target is a club post with that exact ID. If the case is unavailable, the target changed, or the current source revision no longer matches, the app may not show or accept the action.
- Confirm that the content review is for your own post in the same free club.
- Use the latest available case status; a missing action is not a final decision on your appeal.
- Do not submit a new report as a substitute for an appeal.
A missing button does not explain the specific cause
These conditions describe when the software can offer an appeal action; they do not diagnose why a particular account lacks one. A missing control is not proof that an appeal was denied, that the report was dismissed, or that a policy finding was made.
The sources do not establish a separate appeals inbox or a manual button-restoration process. Use the matching current review when it is available; do not assume a support contact can override eligibility.
Hypothetical: a case is still In review
Suppose a member opens a review about their own post and sees In review but no Appeal decision action. The case has not yet reached a decided state with a decision ID, so the source conditions for an appeal are not met. That absence does not say how the case will be decided. If a decision is later recorded, the member would still need the matching subject case, target and current source checks for an appeal action to appear and be accepted.

Does no appeal button mean BSD rejected my appeal?
No. It only means the current screen is not offering that action. It does not establish that an appeal was filed or denied.
Can I appeal before the case has a decision?
The current appeal eligibility is tied to a decided original case with a decision ID. Pending review and In review are not that state.
