What should an unresolved selection on a prepared slip mean?
Treat an unresolved selection as a leg that has not been confirmed for that prepared plan. It may mean the exact selection identity could not be matched, or that the plan has no usable link for that leg. It does not mean the selection was removed, replaced or successfully sent to a sportsbook. Keep the leg visible, compare it with the original ticket and the book's current offer, and treat the plan as unplaced until the sportsbook itself confirms a wager receipt.
For Bettors interpreting an unresolved selection in a prepared-slip record · Updated
Unresolved means the plan could not confirm this selection
A prepared plan may need to match a selection to the exact event, market and outcome before it can produce a usable link. If that identity cannot be confirmed, the recorded BSD plan keeps that selection's row unresolved instead of guessing a replacement or quietly dropping it.
A plan can also retain an unresolved placeholder when no compatible link or price was returned. The label describes what the plan could confirm; it does not by itself explain the cause. Read any available warning alongside it and avoid claiming a specific sportsbook or provider reason unless the record states one.
An unresolved row is not a placed or accepted bet
The recorded plan response is marked for review and unplaced. Its plan identifier is not a saved ticket or a sportsbook receipt. A sportsbook bet slip is where selections are prepared before confirmation; DraftKings' glossary calls the receipt the confirmation of a placed bet. An unresolved selection in a preparation plan is not that confirmation.
Do not assume the rest of a prepared plan forms a complete whole-ticket offer just because some selections matched. The source explicitly leaves whole-slip availability unestablished. It does not establish that a customer can reach or execute a particular current flow.
Check the selection against its original source
Compare the unresolved row with the selection it was meant to represent: the correct event, market, outcome and any line or period that identifies it. If you cannot confirm that they are the same selection, leave the row unresolved. Do not substitute a similar-looking leg or describe the plan as a shorter slip.
If you need to continue, verify the exact selection directly with the sportsbook and review every leg and condition there. A prepared plan is only a request for review; it does not place a wager, confirm current odds or prove that the book accepted the ticket. Use the sportsbook's receipt for evidence that a bet was accepted.
Hypothetical example: one selection cannot be matched exactly
Suppose a prepared-slip plan contains a selection whose event or market identity cannot be verified. The plan retains a row marked unresolved. That row is not evidence that the selection was removed or replaced, and the other rows do not prove the whole plan is available. Compare the unresolved selection with the original ticket and the sportsbook's current offer. Until the book confirms the accepted ticket with a receipt, describe the plan as unplaced. This is an invented workflow example, not an actual slip, pick, quote or wager.

Should I assume an unresolved selection was dropped from my slip?
No. In the recorded plan, the unresolved leg remains represented as a row. The label means it was not resolved for that plan; it is not evidence of removal or substitution.
Does the prepared plan confirm that the sportsbook accepted my bet?
No. The recorded plan is review-required and unplaced. A sportsbook receipt is the book's confirmation of a placed bet.
