Why can a sportsbook link expire while my saved slip remains available?
A saved slip is the record you chose to keep in BSD. A sportsbook handoff is a separate, time-limited request to open that slip at its supported sportsbook. The record can remain available after the link expires. Review the saved slip and request a fresh handoff instead of assuming an old link still represents an available sportsbook selection.

The saved record and the destination link do different jobs
The saved record identifies the ticket and its recorded selections, sportsbook and stake. Opening that record answers which slip you are discussing. It does not establish that the sportsbook still offers those selections or will accept them now.
A handoff is prepared for the owned saved ticket and the same sportsbook. BSD checks that the returned handoff still matches the ticket, book and number of selections. The response carries its own expiry and supported handoff or fallback information. An existing saved ticket is therefore useful context, but it is not permanent permission to reuse every link generated from it.
Review a fresh handoff before opening the sportsbook
In an authorized BSD agent conversation, select the exact saved slip first. Ask for a fresh sportsbook link for that ticket. Give your state when it is required; an unknown location should remain unknown rather than being guessed. The connected tool's current support decides whether it can return a whole-slip link, individual-selection links or a manual fallback.
Read the status and limitations in the new response. If the result is unavailable, a different book is not an automatic substitute for the book attached to the saved ticket. If it offers individual selections, review each selection rather than treating the links as a confirmed parlay.
- Confirm that the saved ticket is the one you intended to review.
- Keep the same supported sportsbook and review any location requirement.
- Check the handoff's expiry and explicit fallback before opening it.
- Review the actual selections and stake in the sportsbook yourself.
A valid link is not a placed or confirmed bet
Preparing or opening a sportsbook handoff does not record a wager as placed. It also does not prove that a sportsbook has prefilled the slip. The final sportsbook screen is where you review what actually loaded, which selections remain available and what the sportsbook is asking you to confirm.
Do not treat a saved stake as an accepted stake or a previous selection as an available current selection. BSD's agent cannot place wagers. If the sportsbook does not confirm that a selection loaded, keep that result unconfirmed and use the supported fallback rather than describing the handoff as successful placement.
Example: the record is available, but its earlier link is no longer usable
Suppose you saved a slip, discussed it in a BSD-connected conversation and returned later. The saved slip still opens, but the old sportsbook link has expired. Start from that owned ticket and ask for a new handoff. If the fresh response returns individual-selection links instead of a whole-slip link, use that explicit fallback and inspect the sportsbook's current screen. This is a workflow example, not a claim about real picks, prices or an accepted wager.

Should I change sportsbooks to make the old link work?
Do not silently switch the book associated with the saved slip. Request the supported handoff for that ticket's sportsbook. An unavailable result should remain unavailable unless you deliberately choose a different supported workflow.
Does a fresh link guarantee that every selection is prefilled?
No. Read the returned handoff status and fallback, then check what actually loads at the sportsbook. A link being prepared is different from the sportsbook confirming its contents.
