Why is Top 30d empty, and how is that different from Records could not load?
An empty Top 30d list and a load error are different states. When no leader is available and there is no request error, the view says verified records appear when enough cappers qualify; discovery returns leaders only when at least three eligible records qualify. If no leader is available and the request errors, the view says Records could not load and offers Retry records. Neither state proves zero losses or no history.
For BSD readers interpreting an empty or unavailable Top 30d leaderboard · Updated
The empty message is about the qualifying list
The discovery service returns leaders only when at least three records meet its eligibility checks. Those records must be verified, have settled results and show positive 30-day net units. When no leader is available without a request error, the interface uses the message that verified records appear when enough cappers qualify.
That message does not supply a current ranking or mean that everyone has zero performance. It describes the list's minimum qualification rule.
A failed request has its own message and retry action
When no leader is available and the leaderboard request errors, the interface says Records could not load and shows Retry records. The failure means the view did not get a usable list; it does not establish whether anyone qualifies.
Use the existing retry action to request the records again. Do not fill an empty or failed view with invented cappers, and do not interpret missing rows as zero losses.
- Enough-cappers message: the qualified list is empty or below its minimum.
- Records could not load: the request failed.
- Retry records is the existing recovery action for the failure state.
Illustrative example: empty list versus request failure
Imagine two fictional visits. In one, the request succeeds but fewer than three records qualify, so the view shows its enough-cappers message. In the other, the request fails, so the view says Records could not load and offers Retry records. Neither example names a capper or invents standings.

Does an empty Top 30d list mean nobody has a record?
No. The empty-state message reflects the eligible-list threshold; it does not establish that no one has history or that results are all losses.
What should I do when Records could not load appears?
Use the existing Retry records action. Until a usable response arrives, the failed request says nothing about the current qualifying standings.
