Is Latest pick on a capper profile already included in their settled record?
Not automatically. Latest refers to the latest shared post returned for that profile; it is not a promise that the post is new, started or settled. The settled-result list is separate and includes only an admitted result bound to the exact post ID. Without that matching result, do not count the latest post as a win or loss.
For BSD readers checking whether a capper's latest post already has a settled result · Updated
Latest and settled results come from separate records
The profile's Latest section reads the latest returned shared post. The Recent settled picks section comes from a separate result response, whose entries carry a post ID, profile ID, outcome and settled time. The presence of a Latest card by itself does not add an outcome to the settled-results list.
A post can appear in both places once a valid result is admitted for the same post ID. Until then, the post is not evidence of a win, loss, push or void result.
- Match the result to the exact post, not just to the same capper.
- Look for a returned outcome in the settled-result list.
- Do not infer settlement from a Latest label or a Grade preview.
An unstarted or unsettled post has no result to count
The latest-post response and the settled-result response answer different questions. A shared post may describe a selection before it has an admitted settled result. The screen does not predict what that result will be.
If the exact post is absent from the returned result entries, keep its outcome unresolved. Do not add it to the profile's settled counts as either a win or a loss.
Illustrative example: a latest post with no matching result entry
Imagine a fictional profile whose Latest section contains a shared post, while its separate settled-results response has no entry with that post ID. The reader leaves the post uncounted rather than labeling it a win or loss. If a matching admitted result later appears, it can be read as a separate recorded outcome. No actual post or result is represented.

Does the Latest label mean the pick has started?
No. Latest identifies the newest returned shared post, not its start or settlement status. The post's result must be admitted separately.
Can I count a post as a loss if it has no result stamp?
No. An absent result is not an admitted loss. Count only the outcome returned for the exact post ID.
