Why can I see my club post while other members cannot see it yet?
Your own club discussion can be saved in a pending state before it is available to other members. Being able to open your submission does not mean it has passed review. The member discussion feed includes approved posts subject to current access and content restrictions. Check the latest status before assuming the post failed to save or posting it again.
For Club members checking the visibility of their own discussion post · Updated
Saving a discussion and sharing it with members are separate steps
A submitted club text discussion starts pending. The author can have access to their own pending detail while the post is absent from the member feed. This lets a saved submission and an approved discussion have different visibility.
This distinction applies to club text discussions. A public Tail post or a capper's ticket post has its own sharing and review requirements; seeing one kind of post does not establish the status of another.
Check the current post before making another copy
Start with the original submission and the club it belongs to. If its current status is pending, another member's inability to see it is consistent with review still being incomplete. If you cannot confirm that it saved, describe that uncertainty when seeking help instead of treating it as a moderation decision.
- Check that you and the other member are looking at the same club and the same post.
- Check the latest status, where available; an older view is not evidence of the current decision.
- If the post is approved but still unavailable, check current club access and any restriction information provided.
- Keep the post reference and approximate submission time for support; avoid sharing private discussion text publicly.
Editing or restoring a post can return it to pending
An edit submits a new version of the text for review. Approval of an earlier version does not establish that the changed text is approved. Restoring a withheld discussion also returns it to pending rather than immediately admitting it to the member feed.
Pending does not promise approval or a completion time. A club owner, admin or moderator's ability to manage content does not itself mean that a restored post has passed the separate review step.
Use the workflow currently available to your account
These steps explain pending discussions where club posting is available. Private or paid club features may be unavailable, and this guide does not announce their activation. A saved post alone does not establish another member's right to read a private club.
Hypothetical: a saved question awaiting review
Suppose you submit a club discussion asking where to find the community rules. You can reopen your own submission, and its status is pending, but another member cannot find it in the discussion feed. Those observations can both be correct: the question was saved, while member visibility still requires approval and current access. You then edit the question to clarify it. The changed version needs review; the edit is not a shortcut to publication. Keep the original post reference rather than creating repeated copies.
Related questions
Does pending mean my post has been rejected?
No. Pending means review is incomplete. Withheld is a different state. Use the current status and any explanation provided rather than inferring rejection from an empty member feed.
Will paying for access make my pending discussion visible immediately?
Access and content review are separate requirements. A payment is not approval of a discussion, and this guide does not establish that club payments are enabled.
